Rexam Pump With Glass Ball Enhances Vera Wang Princess

Rexam’s innovative super low profile pump (SLPP) with glass ball enhances the new Vera Wang Princess fragrance package from Coty Prestige. Princess is the first commercial launch of the Rexam pump featuring the glass ball bearing designed to make the internal mechanisms of the pump transparent to the end-user. Rexam Dispensing Systems’ low profile glass ball mechanism, with bright gold actuator and collar, complements the package’s heart-shaped, cut-glass bottle bestowed with a bejeweled golden crown.

The pump, which fits the scent’s 30-, 50- and 100-mL sizes, is also assembled with Rexam’s The Crimpless System. The new SLPP assembly contains no elastomers and no rubber gasket that might contaminate the product formula. More information: www.rexam.com.

Alcan Dresses Up Yves Rocher Skincare

Alcan Packaging Beauty provides the new jars of Yves Rocher’s Inositol Végétal skincare range. The identical jars differentiate themselves by their colors: green for day care, blue for night care. The jar cap is composed of three parts: an external SAN lid, a PP screw cap and a seal. A SAN ring is fastened to the jar base by ultrasonic welding; the 40mL internal tank is joined onto the base. Ameri-Seal Inc. printed four different PETG sleeves for Freeman Beauty Labs of Beverly Hills. The four labels were designed for hair care products, and have a tropical feel with papayas and palm trees as well as cool shades of blue-green in the background. The package is designed with matte black or white components. The product’s shade in each lipstick is visible to the consumer through the clear plastic cover. Axilone Designs Cap for Isolence

Axilone’s credesigned and created the cap for Guerlain’s latest women’s Fragrance, Insolence. In perfect harmony with the bottle, the cap, produced in Surlyn 2000, features Guerlain’s logo on the top. Axilone relied on an in depth mold flow study to improve the distribution of the material and avoid occlusion and flow lines on the top of the cap. The filling of the mold was optimized and the logo—engraved in the mold—was preserved intact.
